In 1980, Jef Louage and Julia Switten had a dream: their very own business; specialised in address management and processing. It was a revolutionary undertaking at the time: Customer Relationship Management (CRM) was in its infancy. But the entrepreneurial duo was determined. And with that, Address System was born. As an IT company, they were developing CRM packages and the first rewards campaigns before the concept really took off. With hired computers, the young company from Berchem worked its way up, soon relocating to Boechout.

At the end of the 80s, Address System set up shop in Putte, near Mechelen. The first rewards campaign for multinationals such as Coca-Cola and AB-Inbev were created.

1980: Address System sees the light of day. It is the first company to offer digital services such as digitisation of addresses and CRM.






1989: The first customer rewards systems are set up. Rewards-points campaigns are very popular.

Reliable IT partner

In 1994, Advanced Information Processing (AIP) was established as a spin-off of the VUB. At the wheel: son Frank Louage, who had been the head of the company since 1995. Frank proved himself as a civil engineer with a VUB project on GIS: Geographic Information Systems.

The ball was rolling with no signs of stopping. Address System built up multiyear collaborations with smaller companies and multinationals like Unilever and Henkel. The focus moved from data control to full solutions. A comprehensive A-to-Z service is offered to customers. The goal is to remove concerns and share expertise. IT is the key to this success.

1996: Advanced Information Processing is established as a spin-off of the VUB. AIP specialises in GIS: Geographic  Information Systems.




2004: First field data collection application for the LIT out-of-home team with a Compaq pocket PC.
